Hey everyone ![]()
We’re excited to announce that RunCloud now supports LiteSpeed Enterprise (LSWS) as a web server stack, available on Business and Enterprise plans (currently in Beta).
How it works
LiteSpeed Enterprise is now available as a beta as the third web server stack alongside NGINX and OpenLiteSpeed. Bring your existing LiteSpeed Enterprise license, or grab a free Starter license from LiteSpeed (covers servers with up to 2GB RAM), and deploy your LiteSpeed servers directly from the RunCloud dashboard.
-
BYOL model: Use any eligible LiteSpeed Enterprise license you already own. The Free Starter license from LiteSpeed works on servers with up to 2GB of RAM.
-
Business and Enterprise plans only: Essential and Professional users see the option grayed out with an upgrade prompt.
-
New servers only: LSWS is deployed on fresh server instances. Existing Nginx, OpenLiteSpeed, or Docker servers cannot be converted.
-
License management in dashboard: View license status and details, upload or update your license key from Settings > LiteSpeed in your server dashboard.
-
Blocked state protection: If your license is invalid or expires, the server enters a blocked state so you can resolve it before things break.
-
Requires agent 2.18.0+: Make sure your RunCloud agent is up to date.
Where to find it
