We’re receiving an increasing number of reports that Cloudflare’s new Speed Brain feature is causing issues on WordPress websites. This feature’s purpose is to speed up navigation on your website by prefetching the next page visitors are expected to navigate to.
But, for now, the best way to address this issue right now is to disable this setting in your Cloudflare dashboard.
You can locate the Speed Brain setting under Speed > Optimization:
And once there, head to the Content Optimization tab where you’ll see the Speed Brain setting at the very top.
Simply use the toggle on the right to disable it (in the above screenshot, it is enabled).
To prevent potential issues, our current guidance is to disable this feature unless you are confident that you’ve tested it on your setup and are aware of the potential risks of running this Cloudflare feature (which is currently in beta) on your websites.
Note: This is not a RunCloud-specific issue, so we advise you to check this setting on all your web applications regardless of where they’re hosted.
